Thank you for considering the Phoenix Outlaws to continue your playing career. With the Outlaws you will find one of the most structured teams in any league. The staff and players care about each other and about winning! Our 24 year tenure will show you that the team is dedicated and focused on what it takes for the long haul. It means something to be called an Outlaw, it is not just a team, it is a lifestyle! OUTLAWS 4 LIFE
WHY THE OUTLAWS?
*Get back to what football is all about.
*Last season, 11 first year players started. All position are open for competition every year.
*The Outlaws try to rotate their players in every game so we will be healthy at playoff time.
*Play for a team that you know will have a future. Outlaws entering their 24th year.
*No one recognizes or awards their players more than the Outlaws do.
*Every year the team produces a highlight film, and tracks stats and records
*The team has put three players back into the college ranks.
*The team has helped players get NFL try outs.
*The team has helped get players AFL try outs.
*2008-2009 Outlaws quarterback Chris Malleo has signed with the Milwaukee Iron of AFL2 as well as the Reading Express of the Arena League. In 2011 Chris had a private workout for the NFL's New York Giants.
*The team has six players that travel the world while playing for team USA.
*The Outlaws travel in a Charter Bus on the longer road trips.
*In the team's history, we have had more players make the All-Star team as well as All-League than any other team.
WHAT DOES IT COST?
TOTAL NON REFUNDABLE TOTAL TEAM DONATION FOR THE YEAR IS $250.00 PER PLAYER
IF PAYMENTS ARE NEEDED THEY ARE AS FOLLOWS:
$100.00 FIRST PRACTICE IN SEPTEMBER
$100.00 FIRST PRACTICE IN OCTOBER ($200.00 total at that time)
$50.00 AT THE FIRST PRACTICE IN NOVEMBER ($250.00 total at that time).
LEAGUE REGISTRATION FEE IS $100.00 PER PLAYER
You will also have to have a physical to be on the field.
(*NOTE: At the first practice in September if you are completely paid off, you will be able to select your jersey number. Returning players have first shot at retaining their number prior to this date. After this date all remaining numbers are available!)
Without these payments you will not be on the field to practice, but you can watch.
All payments are a non refundable, non transferable, non rollover, yearly donation to the Phoenix Outlaws Football Club.
~If any players bring in a sponsor of $500. or more, that player will be reimbursed his team fee.
* All players must have their own equipment.
HIGH SCHOOL PLAYERS!!!!!
* Your high School "senior" season must be over for you to participate with the Outlaws.
* All games are filmed and used as a great recruiting tool for the next level.
~All players must have a physical, you can use a copy of your High School physical.
~If you are younger than 18 you must have your parents sign the permission paperwork.
~If a player brings in a sponsor, that player will be reimbursed his team fee.
* Players must have their own equipment.
HOW DO I START?
* All players must go to the Outlaws forms page on this web site and register.
* You will then need to pay the Phoenix Outlaws player donation.
* No player will be allowed to participate until this is complete!
* All players need their own equipment
* All players must have a physical prior to playing in any game or practice.
